“Lord, let this year be filled with the things that are truly good—with the comfort of warmth in our relationships, with the strength to help those who need our help and the humility and openness to accept help from others.

As we make our resolutions for the year ahead, let us go forward with great hope that all things can be possible—with Your help and guidance.”

It’s a new year, and we encourage you to make your resolutions.  It’s been proven that people who make resolutions are 10 times more likely to follow through on life goals than someone who doesn’t.

Here are some ideas for living a better life:

  1.  Smile. A small thing but it could be huge to someone who’s hurting.
  2.  Do one good deed a day, and don’t tell anyone about it. A selfless act is good for the disposition.
  3.  Find something you admire about someone, and tell them. A positive truth is good for everyone.
  4. Join one of our groups or another group of your choice. Staying in touch with people is vital to a great life.
  5. Visit us on Sundays as a reminder to keep God in your life.

To make sure and follow through on your resolutions, tips include: make it realistic, set a reasonable plan of action, talk about it, and ask for support.
